# Convia Pro release notes 2026.07.20

> What changed in Convia Pro in the release of 2026.07.20. See [all release notes](https://docs.conviapro.com/changelog.md).

> For the complete documentation index, see [llms.txt](https://docs.conviapro.com/llms.txt).

## Added
- Insert episode links and guest or host details into a post with a click. When a post is linked to an episode, new composer buttons drop in the episode's YouTube, podcast, or playlist link, and any linked guest's or host's details, including name, title, company, bio and social links, exactly where your cursor is.
- Edit clips in OpusClip. Clip candidates on the review page now have an "Edit in OpusClip" shortcut that opens the clip in the OpusClip editor in a new tab.
- Guests can try Convia free. A guest who creates their own workspace from the guest portal now starts a free 14-day trial automatically.

## Changed
- Draft posts can be rescheduled on the calendar in workspaces that require approval. Drag a draft to a new date without affecting its approval status; published posts stay locked.

## Improved
- Inserts land at your cursor. Hashtags, snippets, and episode info now insert wherever your cursor is instead of at the end of the text, across every editor.
- Hashtag and snippet buttons everywhere you write. The same compact insert buttons now appear on post composer, YouTube descriptions, show notes, and articles, including places that had no quick-insert before.
- Reject clips one at a time on the clip review page, from the clip card or its detail view.
- Guest "episode ready" emails can now include the episode's publish date.

## Fixed
- A post publishes with the image you attached, and an image upload that does not complete shows an error so you can retry rather than publishing without it.
- A post always leaves "Processing". If something goes wrong on the way to a platform, it is marked failed so you can retry it.
- Scheduled YouTube videos now show your chosen premiere time as their publish date, instead of the moment the video was uploaded.
- YouTube post previews now render in the vertical Shorts format.
- Campaign posts now schedule at sensible local times in your workspace's time zone instead of clustering in the early morning, every campaign includes a release-day post, and articles on the campaign calendar open in the article editor.
- Clips imported from OpusClip now keep their transcript and tags, so Generate Posts and search work on them right away. The clip details view no longer flickers.
- Guest photos are easier to work with: you can view and download a guest's headshot even after they've claimed their profile, and thumbnail generation can use any photo a guest uploaded, not just their default.
- The episode details page has a "Back to episodes" link.
- Generated thumbnails render your brand assets as artwork, never as text.
- Submitting a post for approval shows one confirmation, not two.
