# Convia Pro release notes 2026.08.24

## Added
- **Attach a Descript project you already have** to an episode, instead of only being able to create a new one from a Convia recording. Pick it from your Descript drive or paste a link, then bring the edited video back as usual.
- **Cancel a Descript pull-back that is still running**, rather than waiting it out and paying for a second render.
- **Copy and download transcripts and conversation outlines**, as plain text or a Word document, from both the workspace and the guest portal.
- Analytics now refresh on their own twice a day, rather than only when someone pressed Sync.
- **Connecting a social account asks only for the permissions your plan uses.** First comments now work on Facebook, and on Instagram accounts that grant the comments permission. If a platform refuses a permission, Convia remembers and stops asking you to reconnect for it.

- Guest email addresses are visible only to the workspace roles you have given guest access.

## Fixed
- **Instagram accounts can be connected again**, after a change on the platform side left connection attempts landing on an unavailable page.
- Smaller fixes to invitations, including Resend Invitation.
- Add Account now respects your plan's connected accounts limit for platforms you have not connected yet, instead of letting the count climb past it.
- Edit in Descript becomes available as soon as the recording upload finishes, without reloading the page, and turns off again if the recording is deleted.
- The brand asset picker shows each asset's name, and audio and video assets get a readable placeholder.
- Titles in the campaign builder's Browse step wrap to two lines with a tooltip, and tooltips appear promptly across the app instead of after a long pause.
- Launching a campaign from an idea now records the link, so it appears under the idea's Content Created, and clicking a campaign there opens it. Items restored from the Trash reappear under their idea immediately, and the Ideas badge count matches the panel.
- A workspace you just joined by accepting an invitation appears in the workspace switcher straight away.
- Thumbnail Studio shows the real reason when generation fails, and opens the credits dialog when you have run out.
