Added

  • Build a campaign around a story, not around what you happen to have. Creating a campaign now starts by planning it: say what the campaign is for, and Convia works out what it should say beat by beat, across every platform you picked, over the dates you set. Planning is free and you can redo it as many times as you like before anything is generated.
  • Campaigns no longer have to be about an episode. Any campaign can be planned, whether it is attached to an episode, drawn from your whole library, or built from nothing but an idea. Until now, only episode campaigns got a plan.
  • An empty library gets you a plan, not an error. If you have nothing to work with yet, you still get the full arc, with each beat saying what it needs and when you need it. That is a production brief you can work from, which is the point.
  • Every beat says whether you already have what it needs. Beats that can be made from something in your library say so and name it; beats that need something new are kept in the plan and flagged, rather than dropped.
  • Keep the parts you like and redo the rest. Pin any beat and it comes back untouched when you re-plan, along with whatever content you had attached to it. Tell Convia what to change in your own words and the rest of the arc responds.
  • Your plan survives closing the tab. A campaign you are still working out is saved as you go and stays out of your campaigns list, your calendar and your reports until you launch or save it deliberately.

Fixed

  • When a Magic Campaign is saved as a draft, the notification about posts needing an asset now opens the campaign instead of the approval queue, which never showed them.
  • Campaign plan dates on the campaign page are now counted from the episode release date, matching the dates on the posts below them. They were counted from the campaign start date, which showed every beat of an episode campaign two days early.
  • Beat dates on the campaign page now use your workspace time zone, like every other date on that page, rather than the time zone of the browser you happen to be reading in.
  • Smaller fixes to pinning beats on campaigns planned before this release.
  • Saving a campaign plan saves it as a draft and says so. Activate it from the campaign page when there is something to run.
  • The campaign builder now says to connect a social channel when the workspace has none, instead of asking you to choose a platform from a list with nothing in it.
  • A failed re-plan now stays on screen and says the previous plan is untouched, rather than leaving no trace once the message faded.
  • Editing a campaign no longer saves your changes the moment you pin a beat. Closing without saving cancels again.
  • The review screen keeps showing the scheduled posts when you edit a planned campaign, so you can see what saving will change.
  • Switching from planning to picking content yourself no longer leaves a hidden draft campaign behind, or double counts the source trend.
  • Editing a campaign no longer loses the story you built for it. Opening a planned campaign and building the story again used to replace the saved plan, discarding any clips you had attached to particular beats. The plan you already have now opens with the campaign, so editing it keeps your pins and your choices.
  • Your saved plan is visible on the campaign. The story, its beats, and what each one still needs now appear on the campaign page, so a plan you saved last week is still there to work from. A campaign built entirely from things you have yet to make reads as the to-do list it is.
  • Changing your mind about how to build a campaign does what it says. Switching to picking the content yourself clears the AI plan you walked away from.
  • Buttons that cannot be used now say why. If a campaign cannot go forward because it has no name, no platform, or no dates, the reason sits next to the button instead of leaving you with a grayed-out Next and no explanation. If you have no channels connected, it points you to Settings.
  • Saving a campaign plan no longer calls itself a launch, since no posts are written at that point. Dates are marked as required when you are building a story, because the story is laid out across them.
  • A gap that needed a clip showed a "Find a clip" button in the campaign builder that did nothing when clicked. It is gone from that screen.
  • Long SEO titles and subtitles on generated articles are kept in full rather than being cut short when saved.
  • The workspace menu and the onboarding episode picker now scroll when the list is longer than the screen, so every workspace and episode stays reachable.
  • Refer and Earn's "Create my link" works on a brand-new workspace, with its signup counters running from the start.
