What is Convia Pro

Convia Pro turns recorded conversations into clips, social posts, articles and campaigns. See who it is for, how it works and where to start.

Convia Pro is a content repurposing and publishing app for podcasters, video creators and content teams. You start from a recorded conversation, such as a podcast episode, a video interview or a webinar, and Convia helps you turn it into clips, social posts, articles and campaigns, then schedule and publish them to your connected accounts. The short version: record once, publish everywhere.

Who uses Convia

  • Podcast hosts and video creators who want each episode to keep working long after release day.
  • Content and marketing teams who plan, review and publish together, with team roles and an approval queue.
  • Agencies that produce shows for clients, with a separate workspace for each show or client and an optional Client Portal.
  • Guests on a show, who get their own portal to see their appearances and download media from their episodes.

You don't need a podcast to start. Guided setup can learn your voice from a short form, and a campaign can be planned from a set of topics, or from nothing more than what you want to say, even when your library is empty.

The content lifecycle

Everything in Convia flows from your source material:

text
Episode → Clips → Posts → Articles → Campaigns
Stage What it is
Episode Your source recording: a podcast, video or webinar, with its transcript, insights, chapter markers and descriptions
Clips Short excerpts for social media, uploaded by you or created with OpusClip or Descript
Posts Social posts written for one account each, from a clip, an episode, an idea or a blank page
Articles Long-form writing such as show notes, blog posts, newsletters and LinkedIn articles
Campaigns A story told across several platforms over a date range, where each post is one beat

Every piece keeps a link to where it came from. Articles and posts link back to their episode, posts show which campaign they belong to, an article's Related Content panel lists the posts made from it, and an idea's Content Created section lists everything made from that idea.

How Convia uses AI

Convia uses AI to draft. You decide what goes out.

  • Brand Brain is what Convia knows about your show: your brand characteristics, audience, content rules and hosts. The AI reads it whenever it writes for you. See Brand Brain and How AI uses your brand.
  • Drafts wait for you. Content the AI writes arrives as a draft or in the approval queue for you to review and edit. Automations can draft posts in the background, but nothing they create publishes on its own: a person approves or schedules it first. See Content Automations and Clip Autopilot.
  • AI features use AI credits. Some tools, such as OpusClip, Descript, ElevenLabs and HeyGen, run on your own provider account instead. See AI & credits and Connect your AI accounts.

Where Convia publishes

Convia publishes directly to eight platforms, through each platform's own connection:

  • LinkedIn (personal profiles, and Company Pages where your plan includes them)
  • X (Twitter)
  • YouTube
  • TikTok
  • Instagram
  • Threads
  • Facebook (Pages)
  • Bluesky

Which platforms you can connect, and how many accounts, depends on your plan. See Connect your social accounts.

What Convia doesn't do

Knowing the edges saves time:

  • Convia doesn't read or reply to comments, and has no inbox or direct messages. Where your plan includes first comments, it can post one on your own post, and it counts comments in analytics.
  • Convia doesn't edit a post after it has gone live. Change a published post on the platform itself.
  • Analytics cover your organic posts, not paid ads.
