Added
- Autopilot keeps breathing room on your calendar. Turn on Keep breathing room on an Autopilot automation and each fill first moves its own posts, and bulk clip posts, off any day that holds more than the channel's per-day count, and keeps clips from one episode a few days apart (3 by default, adjustable). Posts you scheduled or moved yourself and campaign posts never move, and nothing moves earlier or within the next 24 hours. New Autopilot posts are placed with that spacing from the start, and the run history shows how many posts moved.
- Declutter, on the Calendar. Ask Autopilot to give the calendar breathing room now instead of at its next fill. It shows every move before anything changes, then moves the posts when you confirm.
- Autopilot waits for the episode. Each Autopilot automation now has an Only clips from released episodes switch, on by default, including for automations you set up earlier. A clip is picked only once its episode is out: its Publish Date has passed, or, if it has no date, its status is one you marked Ready to publish under Settings, Workflow & Tasks. Clips not linked to an episode are always in play, and if no status is marked Ready to publish, the automation editor and the run history say so with a link to fix it.
- Spread out your clips. In Declutter on the Calendar, Spread out shuffles one platform's clips across episodes and spaces them over the days ahead, using the posting days, times and spacing you choose. Clips already uploaded with Finish on YouTube get their new time on YouTube too on channels in the preview below, no clip goes out before its own episode, and posts you made by hand, campaign posts and unlisted videos stay put. Open it from Declutter, or from Space them out after scheduling clips or finishing several on YouTube; included with bulk clip scheduling.
- Change a finished Short's time from Convia (preview). On a YouTube channel in the preview, Allow changing videos on its card under Brand Brain, Social Channels lets Convia change the publish time of videos it uploaded: drag a Short that is waiting to go public to a new time on the Calendar, an episode's Shorts calendar or a campaign's calendar, or let Spread out move it. Google shows a notice that this permission is not verified yet. Videos imported from YouTube are still changed in YouTube Studio.
Changed
- Every time says which time zone it is in. Times across Convia show in your workspace's time zone, and now carry its abbreviation: on the Calendar next to the month or week you are viewing, on the time axis, in the list view, and beside schedule times on posts, approvals, promotions and your dashboard. The abbreviation follows daylight saving, so a November time reads EST even in September.
- Bulk clip scheduling reads your calendar first. Its advanced mode skips days that are already full and counts only the room that is left, and in both modes a new post never lands on a minute another post already holds.
Fixed
- Reconnecting a social account keeps it the same account. When you reconnect a card under Brand Brain, Social Channels, Convia checks that you signed in with the account the card belongs to. If you sign in with a different one, the card and its posts stay exactly as they were, and Convia tells you which account to use. Connecting an account you added by its handle checks the handle the same way. Reconnecting a Facebook Page or Instagram account keeps the card on that Page or account, and a LinkedIn company page can be reconnected by any of its admins.
- Clear answers when YouTube won't take a new time. Moving a YouTube video that Convia may not change now says why and points you to YouTube Studio, instead of saying the video wasn't uploaded through Convia. Spread out leaves those clips where they are, says how many, and tells you when YouTube refuses a change.
- Episode and article dates show the day you picked, wherever you are. Record, publish and article dates read in your workspace's time zone, on every page and in the guest and client portals, so someone in another time zone no longer sees the day before. Editing an episode's other details leaves its dates as they were.
- YouTube publish times use your workspace's time zone. The scheduled publish time for a YouTube video now matches the post's schedule time beside it, whatever time zone your computer is in.
- The Calendar's today and current-time line match your workspace. They follow your workspace's time zone instead of your computer's.
- Finish on YouTube asks before finishing a rejected post. When you select posts on the Posts page or an episode's Social Content page and choose Finish on YouTube, any post a reviewer rejected and nobody has resubmitted waits for you to confirm. Cancel leaves it as it was.
- Over-long YouTube titles and descriptions are caught instead of cut short. A YouTube post with a title over 100 characters, or a description over 5,000, now stops with a message saying which is too long, rather than uploading with the end cut off. A post with no title still takes one from the start of its text.
- Public LinkedIn company page posts come in as published. Posts you bring in from a LinkedIn company page with Add existing post arrive as published, dated when you posted them, and their performance is collected like any other post.
- Add existing post says when a pasted link comes in as a draft. A private or undated video added by pasting its link arrives as a draft, which does not collect performance, and the confirmation now says so rather than promising numbers on the next refresh.
- Episodes you permanently delete from the Trash stay deleted. Your RSS feed's daily sync, Sync now and importing from your feed again all leave them out.
- Sync now on your RSS feed says how long to wait. Pressing it again within a few minutes of the last sync shows Synced recently and when you can try again, instead of an error.
- Corpus-grounded Content Automations draft posts when a trend matches your episodes. A trend that matches none of your episodes is skipped.
- TikTok posts that published without a link get their View on TikTok link. When TikTok does not confirm a published video's link, Convia finds it on your account and adds the link, as long as it can tell which video belongs to the post.
- LinkedIn company page follower counts are recorded with each refresh.
- Facebook videos no longer show a share count of 0. Facebook does not report shares for videos, so a video with no activity yet leaves the count empty, as busier videos already did, instead of showing a zero Facebook never reported.
- The analytics reconnect banner appears only when analytics is what an account is missing. An account missing a different permission, such as first comments, is no longer told on the Analytics page that analytics is now available. Social Channels still offers it the update it needs.
Security
- Ongoing hardening from our September security review.

Added
- See which posts send people to your website. Connect Google Analytics and Search Console with one Google sign-in, or Bing Webmaster Tools with an API key, under Settings, Website analytics, and pick the properties for the websites you own. A new Web tab on Analytics shows visits, engaged visits and key events from your Convia posts by platform, campaign or post, and their share of all traffic to your site. Every published post and every campaign also gets a Website row. Included where your plan has Advanced Analytics and website analytics.
- See what people search for to find you. The Web tab shows your branded search impressions over time, the queries where your site sits just off page one, and your top queries by clicks. Create idea on a query starts a new idea prefilled with it. Search data arrives about three days behind.
- Link tagging is in your hands. Under Brand Voice, Your websites, a switch adds tracking tags to links to your own websites when Convia publishes, so a visit can be credited to the post that sent it. Picking your first website property turns it on, and you can turn it off at any time.
- Tell Convia which searches are your brand. Under Brand Voice, Your websites, add branded search terms, with suggestions from your show name and websites, so the Web tab can separate branded searches from the rest.
- Ask your AI assistant about your website. Assistants connected through MCP Connections can ask for website traffic and search queries, and get the same numbers as the Web tab.
- Choose which clips Autopilot posts first. Each Autopilot automation now has a Which clips go first setting. Breadth rotates through your whole library, putting the episodes with the fewest recent or upcoming posts first, so one episode no longer fills every channel night after night. Newest first favors your latest clips. Existing automations use Breadth.
- Choose your workspace's default thumbnail style. Owners and managers can pick the style Thumbnail Studio and the Lab start on, built-in or saved, under Brand Brain, AI Prompts, Thumbnail Styles. Anyone can still pick another style for a single thumbnail.
- Draft a brand look for your thumbnails. Under Brand Brain, AI Prompts, Thumbnail Styles, Draft a brand look writes a thumbnail style from your Brand Brain (what your show is about, who watches, your voice) and your brand kit (logo, template). Review it, edit anything, save it, and make it your default. It is free.
- Thumbnails for Spotify video and LinkedIn article covers. Thumbnail Studio and the Lab make thumbnails for Spotify video podcasts and for LinkedIn newsletter and article covers, alongside YouTube, podcast covers, Substack, LinkedIn and Facebook links, X and Instagram.
- See how every post is doing against your usual. Each published post is compared with your recent posts on the same account and in the same format at 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours and 7 days, and gets a badge such as "38% of usual" or "2.4x usual". Sort and filter by it on Analytics, By Post, and find it on the Posts page, in each episode's Analytics and Social Content tabs, and in a post's Analytics tab, charted against your usual range. It is included wherever your plan has Analytics.
- Compare Shorts with Shorts, and Reels with Reels. Analytics can filter by format, keeping YouTube Shorts apart from YouTube videos and Instagram Reels apart from feed posts, so a short clip is never judged against a full episode. Turn on Split by format under By Platform, or open a platform on the Overview to see its formats side by side.
- See when a post's title or caption changed. A published post's Analytics tab marks the day its title or caption was edited on the platform, right on its charts, with what it said before and after. This works for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
- YouTube thumbnail impressions and click-through rate. For YouTube videos, Convia shows how often your thumbnail was shown and how often it turned into a view, day by day, in the post's Analytics tab and as a column on Analytics, By Post. The numbers arrive from YouTube about two days behind.
- An Analytics tab on published posts. Open a published post to see its latest numbers, its Engagement %, and how its views and engagement have grown since it went live. Drafts and scheduled posts keep the Live Preview.
- Engagement % on every analytics view. The Overview, By Post, By Platform, By Campaign, By Episode, By Clip, each episode's Analytics tab and the clip comparison all show Engagement %. Each platform's rate uses what that platform measures, whether views, reach or impressions, and saves now count as engagement. Hover a rate to see exactly how it is calculated.
- Suggested rewrites for posts that fall behind (early access). For workspaces in early access, a new Optimize tab in Analytics flags posts well behind or well ahead of your usual pace. For a post that is behind, Convia suggests three new titles or captions to paste into the platform, and notices when you use one. For a post that is ahead, it suggests reposting it to another platform.
Fixed
- Each browser tab stays on its own workspace. Refreshing a tab, or opening a new one, keeps it on the workspace it was showing, so you can work in two workspaces in two tabs. Saving an article, creating an episode from a script, and adding clips to an episode or a script all stay in the workspace those items belong to.
- Finish on YouTube works on posts waiting for approval. Owners and managers can select YouTube posts that are waiting for approval, on the Posts page or an episode's Social Content page, and choose Finish on YouTube. Convia asks first, then approves them, tells their authors, and uploads them with no further approval. For anyone else, those posts stay in the approval queue until a manager approves them.
- Thumbnail Studio names every platform clearly, such as LinkedIn link and Instagram, instead of internal names.
- Posts on X show a dash when X did not report impressions, instead of a zero that threw off their Engagement %.
- LinkedIn comment counts stay in your totals between refreshes. Comments on older LinkedIn posts are read once a week, and your totals now keep the last count in between instead of dropping it.
- X posts with long links publish. Convia counts every link in an X post as 23 characters, the way X does, so a post that fits on X is not turned away because its link is long.
- Voice & Tone shows the workspace you are in. After you switch workspaces, Voice & Tone shows that workspace's own settings. If they cannot load, Save stays off until you reload the page.
- Opening a published post no longer offers Update Published Date when nothing changed. Saving other edits to a published post keeps its exact published time.
Changed
- Thumbnails start on the Cinematic style. Cinematic puts your guest in a real setting with real light. Your workspace's own default still applies when one is set.
- Drafted ideas describe the scene, and the style sets the look. An idea now says who is shown, where, and how the picture is composed, and leaves the colors, lighting and type to the style you chose, so each style looks like itself. Headlines are drawn big.
- Ideas know your show. Every drafted idea is told what your show is about and who watches, from Brand Brain, so the scene fits your world.
- Your own note keeps top priority when AI expands your idea. After Expand my idea, the note you typed is still sent with the drafted idea and followed first, so nothing you asked for is lost in the rewrite.
- Drafted headlines add to your episode title. The headline Thumbnail Studio drafts says something your title does not, instead of repeating it.
- Downloads come out at each platform's exact size. Download for YouTube gives you 1280×720, Download for Substack 1456×1048, and so on for every platform. When the platform needs a different shape from the thumbnail, a crop window opens: drag the frame to choose what shows, and zoom in for a tighter crop.
- Thumbnails keep clear of what each platform covers. YouTube thumbnails keep text, faces and logos out of the bottom-right corner, where YouTube shows the video length, and every thumbnail is composed for how small that platform shows it.
- Every thumbnail is checked before you see it. Convia reads the finished image to confirm the headline is spelled exactly as you set it and that nothing sits where the platform covers it, such as YouTube's video length. If either is wrong, it makes the thumbnail once more for free. It also tells you when the text may be too small to read in a feed or a person may not look like their photo, and never hides the image.
- Podcast thumbnails fill the matching slot. Set as podcast cover art fills the square Cover Art on the episode's Podcast tab, and a Spotify video thumbnail fills its Episode Thumbnail.
- A simpler post editor footer. Duplicate, Flag / Report problem, Delete and the link to the live post are in the More actions (⋯) menu, and a published post shows Revert to Draft only if you marked it as published yourself. Cancel is gone: close a post with the X at the top right, which still asks before discarding unsaved changes. Once a YouTube video is public, its post offers Open in YouTube Studio and shows the published date as YouTube set it.
Improved
- Post analytics refresh twice a day on every platform except X (Twitter), which refreshes once a day. New YouTube videos also show fresh views between YouTube's daily reports instead of waiting up to two days, and on accounts with many posts, recent posts are refreshed first.

Added
- Finish your YouTube Shorts in YouTube Studio, straight from Convia. Once a YouTube video is uploaded, including one waiting to go public at its scheduled time, its post offers Finish in YouTube Studio, which opens that video's edit page and names the episode to pick as the Short's Related video. YouTube lets you set a Related video only in YouTube Studio, after the upload. The Posts page, an episode's Social Content page, campaign posts, clip details, automation pages, and the calendar's List and Agenda views show a Studio link on every uploaded YouTube post, so you can open several in their own tabs and work through them without opening each post first.
Changed
- The Clips tab has one Add clips menu. Upload video files, add a clip with details, or create clips with OpusClip or Descript from a single menu above your clips. Your clips now start at the top of the page, and you can drop video files anywhere on the list to upload them. OpusClip and Descript progress appears under the heading only while clips are being made.
- Connect OpusClip or Descript without leaving the episode. If your workspace has not added its API key yet, choosing OpusClip or Descript in Add clips asks for the key right there, and the menu is ready to use as soon as the key is checked. These options appear for workspace owners and managers.
- Schedule clips from Social Content. Schedule clips now sits next to Magic Campaign and Create Campaign on an episode's Social Content page, where the campaign it creates is listed. On the Clips tab, select clips and choose Schedule selected to start with them already picked.
- Magic Repurpose starts from the episode header. The Magic Repurpose button sits next to Notify Guests and Comments on every episode page. Until your episode is ready, it opens a checklist of Recording, Final edit and Clips with a link to each step, and Repurpose now unlocks once the final edit is in. The button also shows when a run is paused, running or finished, with Continue and Run again.
- The Recording page shows your episode media one item at a time. Choose Original recording, Final edit or Audio from the list beside it to see that item's video, its length and its upload and Descript actions underneath. Start editing in Descript from Original recording, then bring the edit back with Import from Descript on Final edit. The page opens on the step your episode needs next.
- Thumbnail styles show exactly what they do. Seven styles (Professional, Bold, Minimal, Energetic, Cinematic, Illustrated and Concept) each describe the look they give, and What this style tells the AI shows the full description the AI receives. Customize any style into one saved for your workspace and use it in Thumbnail Studio and the Lab. Saved styles are also listed in Brand Brain under AI Prompts, in place of the old thumbnail stage prompts.
- Draft the idea before you generate. Thumbnail Studio's Idea drafts one concrete concept for your thumbnail from the episode, the style and the people you picked, for free. Try another idea offers a different concept, and Expand my idea turns a rough note into a full description. What the Idea says is followed ahead of the style.
- People in your thumbnails look like their photos. Guests and hosts keep the face, expression, hair, glasses and clothes from the photo you picked. Their pose, expression or clothes change only when your Idea asks for it, and only the Illustrated style draws them as illustrations.
- The text on a thumbnail is exactly what you type. Text on the thumbnail is printed as written, or tick No text for an image without words. The Studio points out text that reads like an instruction, since it would end up on the image.
- Edits keep the original. Edit this thumbnail saves each change as a new version, and the original stays under Previous thumbnails.
- See the prompt behind a thumbnail. Prompt sent to the image model shows the exact text used for the thumbnail on screen, with a Copy button.
Fixed
- An episode you publish to YouTube shows Uploading until the upload finishes, then Published, however long the video takes. A long upload could show as failed while it was still going through, and Try again then uploaded the episode a second time.
- OpusClip clips import in full quality. Clips that OpusClip had not yet rendered in full resolution were landing as low-resolution previews, in small batches as well as large ones. Convia now asks OpusClip to render the full-quality file, waits for it, and imports that. A clip whose render is still in progress when the import finishes is left out and named in the message, so you can import it again in a few minutes rather than receive a low-resolution copy. The Import button shows "Preparing clips in OpusClip" while this happens, which can take a minute or two for a large selection.
- Each platform's writing instructions stay on that platform's posts. When Magic Campaign or Magic Repurpose writes a campaign, text you add to one platform in Social Platform Prompts, such as a sign-off, links or a promo code, now appears only on that platform's posts. Anything you put in the Campaign Brief still applies to every post.
- Credits come back when a thumbnail fails. If generating or editing a thumbnail fails, its credits are returned.
- Square thumbnails stay square. Editing an Instagram or podcast thumbnail no longer returns a wide image, podcast thumbnails preview at their real square shape, and Instagram (Facebook) thumbnails are generated square.
- A new YouTube post starts with its title and description editable, even right after you open a video that is already on YouTube.
- Your clients' portal names your agency. The client portal header shows Produced by and your agency's name under the show's name.
