- A warning before you connect a brand new TikTok account. Publishing to a brand new account through any scheduling tool carries a risk to that account, so Convia now asks you to read TikTok's own guidance and confirm you have done so before the connection starts, on the channels page and during onboarding. Reconnecting an account you already use is not affected.
- Bring back several Descript compositions at once, as clips. Until now an episode could pull exactly one thing back from Descript, and it always became the episode's final edit. The chooser is now a multi-select: tick up to five compositions and say what each one becomes. Anything set to Clip lands in your clip library like any other clip, ready for posts, campaigns and scheduling, and it arrives with its transcript already filled in at no cost, because Descript transcribed it when you imported. One composition per batch can still replace the episode's final edit. They all render at the same time rather than one after another, and each one succeeds or fails on its own, so a single failure no longer takes the rest down with it. This pairs with Descript's own clip making: ask Underlord in Descript for a handful of vertical clips, and each one becomes a composition you can now bring straight back. Renders are billed to your own Descript account, so the confirm step tells you how many you are starting, and you can cancel any single one while the others carry on.
- Descript edit prompts can use your episode's details, and come with ready-made options. The instruction box you send to Descript's AI now fills in things like your episode title, guest name and key themes wherever a template asks for them, so one saved prompt reads correctly on every episode. Convia ships a starter set covering the common jobs, such as removing filler words and retakes, applying studio sound, adding chapters, and making vertical clips for social. Saving your own template under the same name takes the place of the built-in one. Everything is filled in before you send it, in a box you can still edit, so you always see exactly what Descript will be asked to do.
