Added
- Connect Claude to your workspace. A new MCP Connections page under Settings lets you create a secure token and link Claude straight to Convia. From a Claude conversation you can then draft posts, ideas, episodes, and scripts, and ask questions across your episodes, posts, and analytics, without copying anything back and forth. Setup instructions are built into the page for Claude on the web, iPhone, Android, Desktop, and Claude Code. An Activity tab shows every action Claude has taken with timing, and you can revoke a token at any time. Available on plans with MCP Connections switched on.
- Plan a whole campaign with Claude. Claude can now read your brand voice, your clip library, and your existing calendar, then build a full multi-platform campaign and push it into Convia in one go. It lands as a draft campaign with every post dated and ready for review, so nothing goes out until you activate it. Posts that need a clip or a graphic Claude could not supply arrive flagged, with a written brief attached as a comment, exactly like Magic Campaign does. Claude cannot attach a clip it is unsure about, so a missing asset is always surfaced rather than guessed at.
- Brand templates for AI visuals. Upload a layout template to your Brand Kit, then pick it when you generate a visual in the post composer. The generated image follows your template's layout and branding instead of only borrowing its colors.
- Draft an image prompt from your post. The "Generate a visual with AI" panel has a new "Draft from post" button that turns your post's title and text into an editable image brief, so you start from something instead of a blank box. Generated visuals now open full size when you click them.
- Find a clip for a post that needs one. When a post is flagged as needing a clip, you can now search your clip library right from the flagged banner in the composer, and from campaign plan review before you launch. Results are ranked against that post's brief, so the most relevant cuts come first. Attaching a clip clears the flag and adds a note under the original brief rather than deleting it.
Changed
- Instagram and Threads connect directly now. Meta approved both, so the approval request step is gone. Connect them the same way you connect LinkedIn or TikTok.
- Your free 14-day trial now runs on the Creator plan.
- Guided setup no longer asks which type of creator you are before it starts. It goes straight to finding your content.
Improved
- The in-app Help & Guide caught up with everything that's shipped. Four new topics (Content Generation Lab, Mentions & Tagging, Content Automations, and Connect Your AI Accounts) plus a rewritten Analytics topic covering every synced platform, and refreshed guidance on your free trial, Descript editing, AI writing in the composer, auto first comments, and credit top-ups and rollover.
Fixed
- Facebook video posts publish with their title, and on YouTube and Facebook the composer notes that the Title field is the public video title.
- Magic Repurpose now tells you which posts need a clip. Campaigns generated from an episode flag posts with a missing asset, attach the written brief as a comment, and show a "N posts need a clip" banner on the campaign page, matching what Magic Campaign already did. You also get a warning up front if you pick a video-only platform for an episode that has no clips. Notifications about a missing asset now open the campaign page, which can actually show those posts.
- YouTube analytics no longer read zero. Views, likes, and comments fall back to the video's lifetime totals when the reporting window has no data yet, which was common for imported videos.
- The composer no longer carries an image from one post to the next. Opening a second post could inherit the first post's attached image, or publish text only when a cleared image carried over.
- Clearer sign-in errors. An unconfirmed email now says so and offers to resend the link, and a wrong password says so instead of showing a generic failure.
- AI image generation tries again when the model replies with text instead of a picture, and tells you what happened if it still can't produce one.
- TikTok publishing retries temporary network and gateway errors rather than failing the post.
- Campaign content search fixes: articles no longer appear twice (picking one used to select both), the Browse tab shows its own results instead of the smart tab's, and the match percentage now compares against the best result instead of maxing out at 100%.
- Smaller fixes to episode creation and the MCP setup dialog.
